Summer business is becoming more and more important for Swiss tourism too and the focus is on nature: “Switzerland. Get natural” is the motto of the new summer campaign of Switzerland tourism. The worldwide advertising campaign, which is valued at more than 45 million Swiss francs, includes commercials on TV and Youtube, a lavish holiday magazine and multimedia summer stories on myswitzerland.com. In addition, a central eMarketing campaign is mainly planned for Facebook. Nature lovers comprise the largest guest segment for the Swiss summer season, says Liên Burkard, Project Manager Corporate Communications. For most tourists from Switzerland, European countries and the USA, nature and the mountain environment have always come first. The campaign “Nature wants you back” will run until the end of October 2017.
