Stormproof & stylish - Meissl at Lac du Bourget

Brasserie L'Aquarium is an exclusive place for gourmets in Ais-les-Bains, France. Guests dine right on the shores of Lac du Bourget. And must therefore be prepared for sudden, strong winds. Meissl is on hand – ensuring the pleasure of dining in the open air.
Monsieur Burdet and his team welcome their guests in a beautiful setting by Lac du Bourget. Exclusive dishes are served with a view of the lake, including the terrace with its stunning views – made possible by a Meissl solution. And this one does more than just look good: It can withstand what regularly occurs here. After all, sudden winds of up to 100 km/h are not uncommon at this location – and eventually became the downfall of the old system from another manufacturer.
Our solution: four MA sunshades measuring 9 x 7.5 meters – sold by our French partners, Laurent and Andrjana Verdier from Sudest Stores.
A project so convincing that the next collaboration with Monsieur Burdet is soon to follow: The Hotel Casino in Aix-les-Bains is currently being renovated under the direction of PATRIACHE, France's largest and best-known architectural firm. It will also be equipped with a Meissl solution by 2027 at the latest. We are looking forward to everything that is to come!
