    Anyone who thinks that Meissl is only an asset for restaurateurs and their outdoor guests is mistaken! The best examples are the Waldhof Hotel at Lake Fuschl or the Rupertus Therme in Bad Reichenhall. There, a Meissl MV umbrella with a diameter of 8.5m now provides the best services in the outdoor area - almost all year round. A project worth seeing that impressively demonstrates the diversity of Meissl.

    Dirk Sasse is the head of the popular Rupertus-Therme. He had been toying with the idea of a Meissl umbrella for a long time. When the entire outdoor area, including the pool, was to be enlarged in 2021 and turned into a great wellness area, it quickly became clear to him: when, if not now, is the right time for a Meissl umbrella solution!
    The bar construction was done by a local catering supplier and Meissl contributed a large umbrella to the successful conversion. With a diameter of no less than 8.50m, the MV umbrella now spans the pool and the outdoor area. And that's not all: thanks to a special design of the curtains, a drink and the pleasantly warm thermal water in the outdoor area can be enjoyed in any weather - that's pure relaxation!

    It took several meetings to plan the project down to the smallest detail before it was ready. “This required a lot of adaptability on the part of Meissl, because the regulations for gastronomy in wet areas are very specific”, emphasises Dirk Sasse. And he continues: “I am very happy that we have such a professional partner in Meissl, because our demands on quality and functionality are extremely high.“

    This is one of the reasons why this umbrella was equipped with everything that makes the decisive difference in Meissl umbrellas: electric drive, exhaust fan, IR heaters, LED lighting, curtains and a special bar cover.
